Abstract Chemistry curriculum is required for students major in pharmaceutical engineering. In chemistry teaching,problems include overlap of some theoretical contents, isolation of different experimental courses, more contents with less teaching hours, laggard teaching mode and old evaluation system. Exploration and practice on chemistry curriculum reform of pharmaceutical engineering specialty in Linyi university was introduced in this article, including integrating and optimizing theoretical and experimental courses, setting chemical comprehensive experiments and innovative experiments, improving teaching methods and constructing creative classroom, promoting reform of examination and evaluation systems.
