The effects of chemical equilibrium and complete reaction to components in a system were also discussed, including that chemical equilibrium would not affect the number of components if the products of a chemical equilibrium were same phase, and complete reactions could be treated as chemical equilibrium without consuming multiple reactants. Finally, the steps for determining the number of components of a system were summarized.
