Abstract This paper disclosed the logical relationship that reaction process in organic chemistry is determined by the atomic electronegativity with the teaaching design of the additive reaction of ethylene and bromine. Based on to the analysis of the reacting atomic electronegativity, the students could master the organic reaction mechanism easily.
