Abstract According to the characteristics of organic chemistry experiment course in higher vocational colleges, this paper proposed a six-step naturally individualized teaching method including self-study guidance, emotional regulation, emphasizing foundation, strengthening training, summary reflection and homework, with the example of preparation of ethyl acetate. Teaching practice showed that students' self-regulated learning ability and team spirit have improved significantly, and good teaching results have been achieved.
