Clusteris one of the hot research fieldsin chemistry nowadays. In this paper, the concept of cluster is introduced. Moreover, the structures and properties of Al₁₃ and Al₁₄ as well as the stability rules of aluminium iodide clusters are introduced. Finally, the significance of aluminium clusters research is given.
