Abstract The theme of this learning project is “Synthesis of Centennial Drug Aspirin”. The key tasks of the project-based teaching include understanding carboxylic acids and their derivatives, clarifying the preparation principle of aspirin, designing a synthesis for aspirin, synthesizing aspirin and optimizing it. The project presents the design approach to a project-based teaching task of college chemistry, which combines theoretical and experimental teaching, and its practical teaching process.
