Abstract This paper is based on the contemporary demands of the new engineering discipline construction for the reform of the higher education teaching system,taking the realistic need for the high-quality development of the food industry driven by the transformation and upgrading of China’s industries as the entry point.It faces the pain points in the current teaching of“Introduction to Food Science and Engineering”.Explore new ideas of education based on the closed-loop educational philosophy of“Student-Centered,Outcome-Based Education,Continuous Quality Improvement(SC-OBE-CQI),with the aim of achieving comprehensive improvement in multiple dimensions such as knowledge,skills,abilities,and literacy,improving teaching level and quality,and providing new reference for deepening curriculum reform and cultivation of applied talents.
