Study on Chemical Equilibrium Review Teaching Highlights the Value of Core Concept “Equilibrium Constant”

Chinese Journal of Chemical Education. 2014, 35 (5): 20-24.
Full Text: PDF (1329KB) ( 459 )
Show Abstract ( 305 )

This paper analyzes the aim of chemical equilibrium review lessons and students' prior knowledge, combining with the actual situation, and concludes that equilibrium constant is a core concept, which has the function of structuralizing all the knowledge related to equilibrium and setting up a useful method of thinking and solving all the problems about equilibrium. Moreover, a series of chemical equilibrium review lessons are designed to highlight the value of core concept "Equilibrium Constant", the corresponding tests show that the review teaching has achieved very good effect,so the effective teaching strategies are discussed.
