Bioactive glasses have attracted much attention both in the fields of materials and medicine, due to their excellent biocompatibility, bioactivity, osteoconductivity and controllable physiochemical properties. Up to now, they have been successfully used in clinic to repair bone defects and treat dental diseases. In this study, the composition and structure of bioactive glasses, mechanism of bioactivity, methodsto preparation and their applications was expounded, and an outlook of bioactive glasses was also given.

As one class of new inorganic functional materials, layered double hydroxides has become one of the most exciting subjects of today due to its special layered structure and excellent physical and chemical properties. This paper reviewed the structure and properties of layered double hydroxides, especially the preparation methods and research progress of applications in catalytic materials, adsorption materials, biomedical materials and photoelectric functional materials. Meanwhile, its development direction in the future was prospected.

Due to the wide range and the big risk of hazardous chemicals, training of hazardous chemicals knowledge has always been an important way to improve staff's safety awareness and skills. By selecting training contents and using analytic hierarchy process to build a hazardous chemicals knowledge training contents system, the weight of each level's indicators were determined by the 1~9 scale method. These data will provide a basis for constructing the training system of hazardous chemicals knowledge.

Four kinds of tools of expression can be used to express the molecular stereo-structure in the organic chemistry, such as wedge form, sawhorse perspective form, Newman projection and Fischer projection. The interchange between them is the basis of the whole molecular stereostructure. However, it is difficult for the beginners to understand and master these methods for the spacial imagination, which is one of the difficulties in organic chemistry teaching. This article showed the operative skills between the any two of the four stereoscopic representations, which could be good to figure out knowledge and solve practical problems.

Using phenylhydrazine and ethyl acetoacetate as the starting materials, a novel 1,5-benzothiazepine derivative was synthesized by six-step reactions. The intermediate and the target product were purified by recrystallization or silica gel column. Their structures were characterized by IR, MS and 1H-NMR. Through this systematic training, the students can cultivate their comprehensive experimental ability, independent scientific research ability and comprehensive innovative ability.

In this paper, we designed a simple gas sensing experiment. Because of the coins contain kinds of metallic elements, it will form a layer of oxide on the surface of the coins after heating in air. The oxide could detect various gases based on its sensing mechanism. In the gas sensing experiment, hydrogen was generated according to the reaction between metal and acid solution, the resistance change of oxidized coin is proportion to the concentration of generated hydrogen. This is a experimental case close relate to the scientific principle and the sensing technology, which is favour for conducting students to study the gas sensor and scientific thinking.

Ethyl acetate is an important chemical raw materials. Ethyl acetate synthesis and hydrolysis reaction is a typical chemical production process. In 2014, our university introduced a set of ethyl acetate comprehensive training device, which is mainly used for practical training teaching of undergraduates in chemical engineering. This device includes two units, the synthesis and hydrolysis of ethyl acetate. Through the operation of the units, both practical ability and problem solving ability of students and teaching methods of teachers have been improved obviously. In the meantime, undergraduate practice teaching level have been promoted. Moreover, there are many problems during the experiment teaching, such as equipment pipeline corrosion, pump head corrosion and lack of buffer tank between units. The next step will be to reform these issues to achieve better training results.

This paper introduced the postgraduate reexamination question and the evaluation standard for organic chemistry experiment test. The test prototype is the experiment of preparation isoamyl acetate. The students carried out the operation of separating, drying, filtering, distilling and provided the pure product, at the same time the students recorded the experimental procedure. This paper explicated the operating points of the experiment, and introduced the performance of the students.

On the basis of analyzing the National Teachers' Qualification Examination Outline and Teacher Education CurricularCriterion,this paper put forward suggestions for the people who will take part in the chemistry teacher qualification examination. This paper proposed adjustment of the curricular structure, the proportion of curricular and curricular opening time of pre-service chemistry teacher education by analyzing the pre-service chemistry teacher training program in the sample colleges, and emphasized the combination of theory and practice. Through the creation of different levels, different contents and forms of educational subject curricular, pre-service chemistry teacher education curricular can effectively be docked with the "national examination". Make sure it can adapt to new changes in the institutional innovation, and improve the training of chemistry teacher adaptability and pertinence.

According to the Taylor principle about curriculum research and development, this paper discussed the construction of textbook system for medical vocational schools taking the textbook of biochemistry as example. The construction of textbook was focused on "4 cooperation" and "5 docking", and followed "three order" principle that included the logical order of professional knowledge, learners' cognitive development, learners' psychological development. Application of "three order" was based on dispersion of difficulties around the main line, reasonable construction of knowledge gradient and knowledge, arrangement of individual knowledge embedded in large backbone content.

In order to develop the high-level practical pharmaceutical talents, a novel educational mode was built, which combined the expanding training system with the traditional classroom teaching. Expanding training themes were established on the basis of the syllabus of organic chemistry course and the characteristics of pharmaceutical curriculums. The students should complete the expanding training in their spare time after class, and submit their reviews involving the themes from 4 directions (3 themes in each direction).In the students' reviews, most students proposed the opinions which were expected to be shown through the expanding training. In the meantime, the results of questionnaire survey indicated that the students' abilities of foreign language, reading, writing and professional knowledge were improved.The expanding training provided an important approach for the students to study independently in the future.

The third generation mechanical manufacturing technology, represented by surface integrity manufacture, can effectively prolong the service life of key components, and is an essential factor in realizing "the Strategic Plan of Made-in China 2025". In response to the demand on strengthening engineering education in colleges and universities raised by the Ministry of Education, the experimental and teaching plan for engineering materials proposes, designed and implemented the solid carburizing experiment that was closely related to surface integrity manufacture by integrating the factors of traditional teaching and experimental platform of metal heat treatment. This experiment has been well-received among teachers and students because it not only enriched the teaching contents but also displayed remarkable knowledge forwardness and operational safety.

With the application of mobile public platform, the experiment teaching centre for chemistry in Capital Normal University developed a new teaching mode, aiming at the following achievements:(1) to develop a curriculum with dual structure of both traditional teaching and self-regulated learning, which help students with basic knowledge and skills as well as good autonomy before, within and after the experiments; (2) to conduct a stereoscopic teaching mode in which students are able to learn and communicate both in and out of the laboratories, either online or offline, without time and space constraints; (3) to apply several methods for the collection and analysis of the education data from different levels, which can be helpful for further education reform in experiment teaching.

In some current college books acetonitrile is thought to be miscible with water in any conditions. However, it is not always the case. With conducting critical learning in open teaching environments, the understanding of the solubility of acetonitrile in water was broadened. The homogeneous solution composed of acetonitrile and water can be caused phase separation by four specific experimental conditions, namely, sufficient amounts of salts added, sufficient amounts of monomeric carbohydrate or disaccharide added, hydrophobic solvent added, or being kept at sub-zero temperature. The upper layer formed in the phase separation is acetonitrile-rich phase, and the lower layer is water-rich phase. Four new liquid-liquid extraction methods based on the phase-separation phenomena mentioned above have been developed in recent years, namely salting-out acetonitrile-based extraction, sugaring-out acetonitrile-based extraction, subzero-temperature acetonitrile-based extraction, and solvent induced phase transition extraction. This teaching process not only introduced some new knowledges of acetonitrile properties, but also inspired the students to conduct critical learning.
