Solving Teaching Problem of Calculating Standard Electrode Potential of AgCl/Ag Redox Couple
How to calculate the standard electrode potential of AgCl/Ag redox couple is a teaching problem. This paper solved the teaching problem by changing the angle of view and reviewing prior knowledge according to the cognitive characteristics of university freshmen.
Stratified Progressive Teaching Design of Secondary Structure of Nucleic Acid
This paper introduced the stratified progressive teaching design of secondary structure of nucleic acid as following:the interaction force leading to the secondary structure of nucleic acid as the core, inspiring students to think about the possible interaction patterns between nucleic acid bases under the influence of hydrogen bond and π-π stacking interaction, introducing the structural polymorphism of nucleic acid, then extending to the secondary structures of nucleic acid. This teaching process could fully stimulate students' learning interests and divergent thinking ability, which would be helpful for students to understand the secondary structure of nucleic acid.
Construction of Evaluation System in Inorganic Chemistry Experiment
This paper described the exploration and construction of the evaluation system in inorganic chemistry experiment in university of science and technology of China, which included scientific, reasonable and hierarchical regular assessment, midterm examination and final examination. This evaluation system features the combination of various assessments, including formative assessment combined with summative assessment, written report combined with operation assessment, basic operation combined with design research experiment. This evaluation system was not only able to make an overall evaluation of students' experimental abilities, but could also effectively improve the teaching quality.
Reform and Practice on Teaching Contents of Organic Chemistry Experiment
Reform and Practice of Experiment Teaching Mode for Undergraduate Chemistry
To cultivate students' innovative thinking and practical ability, a comprehensive reform of the system and contents of chemistry experiment course for undergraduates was carried out. This reform was summarized as follows:integrating inorganic chemistry experiment, organic chemistry experiment, analytical chemistry experiment and physical chemistry experiment into three experiment modules of basic experiment, comprehensive design experiment and innovative experiment, setting up the three-level ability training of basic ability, improved ability and innovative ability, proposing one main way for graduation design or professional practice, constructing a new chemistry experiment course system of "331" based on the characteristics of local undergraduate colleges. The practice has proved that the reform and practice could stimulate students' learning interests and initiative, and improve their ability to analyze and solve problem.
Improved Experiment of Separating Mixed Dyes by Thin Layer Chromatography
For eluent used in experiment of separating mixed dyes by thin layer chromatography with high toxicity and pollution problems, this paper improved the experiment by adjusting the compositions, proportion and volume of eluent. The final selection of mixed solvents of ethyl acetate and petroleum ether (1:14) was used as an alternative to separate mixed dyes. The experiment results showed that the separation effect of the eluent was obvious, the spots were clear, and the eluent had low toxicity, which conforming to the requirements of the modern green chemistry experiment.
Organic Chemistry Experiment Teaching in Applied Undergraduate Universities
Based on constructivism and the teaching ideas of student as center and teacher as guider, this paper expounded the teaching reform of organic chemistry experiment from aspects of teaching content, teaching method, teaching mode and evaluation system, and proposed teaching mode of college-enterprise cooperation, work-study combination and industry-university-research-application integration. This reform could fully arouse students' enthusiasm and creativity, and improve students' comprehensive experiment design ability, innovative ability and scientific research ability through strengthening the basic operation skills training. Therefore, this reform achieved good results, laid a solid technical foundation for students' employment and entrepreneurship, and met the needs of enterprises for technical and skilled talents.
Performance Assessment of Scientific Argumentation Abilities of Pre-Service Chemistry Teachers
The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes of pre-service chemistry teachers' scientific argumentation abilities by the method of performance assessment, before and after argumentation teaching. The results showed that the rate of correction of their viewpoints had no significant improvement, yet their abilities to provide evidences and reasons were improved evidently. In spite of this, there were still some problems in their arguments. Specifically, evidences and reasons presented to support some of the viewpoints were insufficiently and inconsistently with each other, and there were alternative conceptions in some of their arguments.

Case Teaching of Coal Mine Methane Utilization Technology Based on Aspen Plus
In order to assist students master the basic theory of Coal Mine Methane Utilization Technology, this study integrated the research achievement of coal-bed methane low-temperature distillation separation and employed Aspen Plus process simulation software to simulate the gas-liquid phase equilibrium of coal-bed methane and process of low-temperature distillation in teaching. This study conducted calculation of operating variables and sensitivity analysis of distillation tower to analyze the influence of operating variable change on the process of distillation according to the technical requirement of coal-bed methane distillation separation. Students could learn about the change of parameters in the distillation tower and master the operation of distillation separation, reinforce the understanding of coal-bed methane separation theory, and develop the comprehensive quality, which improves teaching efficiency and quality.

Application of iSpartan Software in Organic Spectroscopy Teaching
The specific application and characteristics of iSpartan software in organic spectroscopy teaching were introduced. Molecular vibration mode, assignment of IR and NMR absorption peaks, are the difficulties in spectroscopic analysis course. Through the easily visual operation of iSpartan software, making the teaching contents vivid, it is helpful for students to obtain the perceptual knowledge and understand deeply. The introduction of ispartan software increased the teaching efficiency.
