Considering the current requirements of general education and the status of chemistry in natural science, this paper first discussed the necessity and operability of introducing an interdisciplinary course construction in chemistry-centered general education. Subsequently, taking the general education course of chemistry and society as an example, this paper systematically shared the concept of curriculum design and the construction of content framework after introducing an interdisciplinary perspective. The practical experience was shared by demonstrating the implementation process with the details of a typical class as an example. Moreover, the effect and further improvement of this exploration were discussed by analyzing students' interview data. Our effort is to obtain a grander view and share valuable experience for the development of interdisciplinary science education.

Sandwich teaching method is carried out in physical chemistry teaching with the derivation of chemical potential expressions as an example. It is discussed in detail that how the teacher raises questions to present teaching objectives, how the students explore and solve the problems through self-study and discussion in class, and how to return back to the teaching objectives in the end. Through the utilization of Sandwich teaching method, which needs the students to participate in the class as a main part instead of the teacher, the students grasp deep insights in some important physical chemical concepts, formulas and methods, including the concept of chemical potential, the thermodynamic basic relations, and the state function method. Compared with traditional teaching methods, Sandwich teaching method can greatly motivate the students' initiative learning enthusiasms and help a lot with their physical chemistry study.

In this paper, teachers try to skillfully integrate the knowledge points of the theoretical course into the experimental teaching in the course of innovative experiment of polymer material synthesis. By setting up the experimental section purposely, teachers can help the students consolidate the knowledge points of the theoretical course through the analysis of the experimental phenomena. In order to make full use of the spare time of the experiment, on the basis of organizing students to prepare for the experiment, a teaching mode, "encourage students to participate", is implemented, which can encourage students to explain the theoretical knowledge related to the experiment in the form of experimental groups, further consolidate and expand the relevant knowledge points. After two rounds of teaching, it shows that these attempts have not only effectively consolidated the theoretical classroom knowledge points, achieved a lively use of learning, but also stimulated students' interests in learning, and improved the ability to analyze problems.

The continuation and coordination between basic chemistry and specialty chemistry are usually critical problems during the chemistry teaching. This paper classified the complex basic knowledge and professional theory as specific learning objectives; and the course content was reorganized accordingly. The PBL mode was defined as teaching method to enhance the self-management and problem solving abilities in the learning process. The CBL mode was employed for case analysis. The abstract and boring theoretical knowledge was turned into intuitive and vivid cases, which prompted students to constantly think about the reason and mechanism of this problem or phenomenon, overcoming the deficiency of the mutual separation between ordinary teaching theory and practice. Such teaching methods combine reason-result, point-face and abstract-concrete perspectives to emphasize key knowledge points. The results of the surveys show better efficiency for encourage and motivation of students and thus improve their examine results.

In the experiment of measuring rectifying tower efficiency based on water-ethanol solution, researchers confront with quite a time-consuming data processing and large error in the theoretical plate number obtained by traditional manual graphical method. In the study, based on the principle of plate-by-plate calculation method, C programming was utilized to get the result of date processing output as a ‘dat’ format file, which was directly imported into the Origin 9.0 software to obtain the graphs that researchers need. This process not only suits students with basic C programming knowledge in aspects of the easy-to-understand learning, simple operation, accurate results, extremely high efficiency, but also helps to ameliorate the present pedagogical method.
